ETM Executive Cars are Going Places
Andrew Mangnall has big plans to grow his chauffeured car service – and a key step to achieving this has been to move from being based at home in Chartham to the nearby Stour Valley Business Park. ETM Executive Cars was originally set up in 2005, when commuting to London became too much of a daily grind for Andrew, and last year an expanding team and lots of creative service ideas meant that the business needed more space with greater flexibility.
As Andrew explained, “Finding new premises so close to home was a real boon. We now have a secure parking area for our growing fleet of cars with the same great connections to the Kent road network. The Stour Valley Business Park is easily accessible for our drivers coming from home, and means we can get to clients, ports, stations and airports very quickly. And for my wife and I, who run the business together, it provides a welcome separation between work and home life with almost no commuting distance at all.”
The mainstay of ETM’s business is providing chauffeur driven cars for busy executives and they have contracts with a number of local companies including Pfizer, RBS and The Marine Travel Company. But they can meet a requirement for anything from 4 to 57 seats and are expanding into holiday travel, working with language schools, and are increasingly seeing demand from private clients.
“We’re introducing a number of schemes such as car sharing, loyalty discounts, and friend recommendation bonuses that not only make us a more environmentally friendly alternative to driving yourself, but also make the luxury of chauffeur driven travel more affordable.
"We have a strong commitment to going green - our fleet uses low carbon emitting vehicles - and as a business we are keen to giving something back to the community as we grow. So we have pledged to contribute to our chosen charities: Plan, which helps children and their families in 49 of the world's poorest countries to escape poverty, the Saga Charitable Trust and the locally based Aspinall Foundation.
